Continues to be a scorcher! Hot! Hot! Hot! I spent part of the warm day getting a new set of tires. The old ones still have a lot of tread, but they are at least 7 years old (maybe more if they were on the shelf for a while). They were showing signs of sidewalls drying and cracking. Thought it best to replace them before one of them blows out on the freeway. Using my O-stimulus check to help defray the expenses and perhaps stimulate a small part of the economy.

Slept last night with the fan going all the time. Place was like an oven. Dreamed several dreams--something to do with kids and something to do with fishing. Not clear about the details right now. Just have image fragments floating in my dream brain. The complicated world of dreams--continues to be so.

Monitoring my Visa account! I'm getting some "phishing" transactions appearing on my summary statements. The transactions are pending, but I'm watching in case they get posted to the account. If they do, I'll have to dispute the transactions. Apparently, there's nothing the Visa card company will do while a transaction is pending. They only act after a transaction is completed--even though the source of the fraudulent transaction is a known source of illegal activities. The more bothersome issue is how the "phishers" got my credit card number. I suspect a donation that I made online for a cancer relay. I believe their site is hacked and is a source of leaked data.
