Some rain but nothing like the forecasts--yet! Just a steady drizzle most of the day. Made it out to do my laundry. No big crowds at the Laundromat. People are shopping. There was plenty of traffic.

Got an invite for a Xmas eve dinner from the H's. They both are back in good health and I'll resume our reading of The Unconsoled on Monday.

Went to Como Esta for a quesadilla. They were busy and there was a lot of chaos in the air. Grabbed my food and went back home to eat.

Watched a Boorman (Deliverance) movie tonight--The General. It was a gritty movie about a "king of thieves" in Ireland. It was a good movie. Reminded me of the Cohen Brothers films. John Voight had a key role both here and in Deliverance. Didn't nap today. Starting to fade even though it's still quite early.
