Good day today! Resistance training went well. Did alright with the 12lb weights today. Strength was back. Big class--we had 11 people--record is like 12.

Watched a movie tonight--Masai. It was a film about the nomadic African people who live in the desert. It focused on one of their legends with the film reenacting the myth. It was a beautifully photographed work that used the immensity of the desert to back up the action. The legend centered around a group of warriors who set out to hunt down a mystic lion. If they could conquer the lion, they would bring back the rains. The story was mostly about their trek to find and kill the lion.

Dreamed last night a strange and mystic dream. I was at an ex-wife's home. I was invited to be there to meet her therapist and the therapist's husband. There was an exotic dream scene where I was being mounted by the woman while her husband and my ex-wife were sitting in the living room. The dream was detailed and explicit. In the dream, I was planning to move out of the area. I lived in a rural cabin up in the foothills. I was making plans to have someone take over my lease so I would be free to travel. I was planning a long trip that would take me out of the area for a long period of time. In some way, I felt like the encounter with my ex-wife's therapist was meant to derail or curtail my traveling plans. The dream drifted between my ex-wife's place and my cabin. At one point, I was going through the cabin and sorting out things I was going to take with me and things I planned on leaving. The therapist looked like a woman who had a part in an episode of Criminal Mind. The woman in the show was a psychopath and I couldn't help but think of the therapist in the dream as being one as well. There was a lot of unspoken tension in the dream.
