Storage locker is box-free at last! And I've got them sorted and awaiting transport from the apartment's mini-locker. But I've picked up a sinus drip that is persistent. I did the laundry today and the soap smells kept me blowing my nose through the whole event. I put the sorted boxes into the apartment's mini-locker and have about three still in my truck. They contain old computer stuff that I'm hoping the local Computer Museum will want. The stuff spans about 30 years--early 80 to present. Amazing!

Watched a French/Japanese film this evening--Fear and Trembling. It's about a young woman (Belgian) who speaks fluent Japanese and takes a job in one of Japan's mega corporations. She comes in with the naive attitude that she will be accepted by her co-workers and bosses without prejudice. She was born in Japan and lived there for five years. She feels that the job is like coming home for her. She encounters a wall of unspoken rules that any Japan-born person would know my instinct. So she is constantly making mistakes and being shuttled down the ladder of responsibility until she's mopping floors in the bathrooms. The film is sweet, funny, uncomfortable, and a lot more. The woman who plays the key role is a very likable type (I've seen her in other films) and you can't help but root for her as she battles her way to the bottom.

C&M class tomorrow (plus or minus my sinus drip). I seem to need to nap/sleep in the afternoons--even after a green tea Frappuccino (but none today)! Getting late! Time to skate! Can't be late to the open gate!
