Went to the C&M class today and it was a tough workout. It wasn't so much that I've missed a couple of classes and was a bit weak--we just did some tough moves. I came out of the class feeling hungry. I grabbed a sandwich at the SpiceKit. After eating, I went home and napped for a while.

I had a flurry of email this afternoon from MF up in Washington, LL in La Jolla, people from PD dance class, BA in Tracy, and a few more.

MF called to tell me that EF, her partner, passed away last week. He was suffering from Alzheimer's and Dementia, and was losing it. She went through a rough period with him over the past year. These progressive, degenerative illnesses are no fun when it's near the end.

I have a PD dance class and resistance training session tomorrow. A brief rain storm just went by along with some promised thunder and lightning! It only lasted a short while, but it refreshed the air.

Watched a film this evening--The Paper Chase. It was a low key movie about the law school process and how students have to navigate their way through the gauntlet that is imposed. It was a bit slow but was well acted by John Houseman who had the role of the imperial professor.

Muggy, muggy! Hot and muzzy! As it was last night! With the moon so bright!
