Moon Day! I had to drag myself out of bed this morning. My body aches and I feel sore all over. The dancing yesterday, I think, left its mark. That and the damp, cool weather!

I started thinking about Xmas and things like presents and so forth. Not too much, but enough to make me want to just lie down and sleep. I had a big lunch (pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries) and napped some more--until the grandkid came home from school.

We spent several hours working on my GranPa Merit Badge. I puzzled her with an old card trick--guessing a card that she picks and inserts back into the deck. Of course, after a few plays of the trick, she wanted to make up her own version of the trick--which led into an activity spiral that brought us back to what she thinks of as her turf, where she controls the results.

Tomorrow is another big meal event--the holiday lunch with the Roseville PD support group. There is a dance class in the afternoon, but I doubt that I'll make it there.

About to start making my way through the backup of TV shows that I watch each week. I am hooked on CBS and can't seem to get enough of that CBS stuff. Onward to brainless I go!
