Acupressure, tasty lunch, Kaufman movie "Adaptation" (another 2nd view miracle film), and now a full moon. Day went well. I'm feeling good. Didn't take a nap in the afternoon. Got a call from the people who sponsored the PD class--they are doing one after the first of the year (on Thursday--my open day).
I've also read more of the Jaynes' book. Content of the book meshes well with the Kaufman movie. Also learned more about Kaufman, such as he credited his on-screen twin brother with helping write the script. His supposed filmic twin received an Oscar nomination for best script! Hilarious! An apt ending to the making of the film. Learned that director Spike Jonze's real name is Adam Spiegel--he's an ex-inlaw of the Coppola clan. The motion picture data base is full of stuff!
Dreamed last night a series of dreamings. First one involved being in a rustic cabin with three guys from the men's team. We were hunkered in from a storm. It was cold and wet. Things got more wet when I pissed my sleeping bag. I awoke (in the dream) in a puddle and had to move my bedding so the place would dry. The dream had two or three other segments, but I can't seem to bring them back right now. One involved (I believe) something to do with a set of neighbors who lived (in the dream) across the street from where I lived. There's something ominous about that dream's residue, but I don't recall any details.
Nearly dream time once again. Let the play begin!
