Made it to the RC CW dance class today. As I expected, There were a couple of people there that I knew. In fact, two people who were once my students. It was good to see them. The class was challenging. The teacher went over at least five dances that had been taught previously. They were fairly intermediate level dances. I stumbled my way through them. I took the step sheets and will have to review them this week so I can join in better next week. But, it looks like the perfect class for at least the summer session.

Had lunch with BH--a tasty mini-feast (fish, avocado, vegetables, potatoes, fruit and cookies). GH and I watched Clockwork Orange (continuing the Kubrick festival). It was a graphic film with lots of harsh scenes--but that was what the movie was all about--violence and people's response to it. Visually, the film was a splendor! Incredible sets that gave the impression of vastness using very little materials--although most of the places were actual buildings/rooms/and so forth.

I went through the trivia listings for this movie. There are almost innumerable items in the list. This film abounds in detailed quirky elements that were intentionally included by the director. 2001: A Space Odyssey is next (Clockwork actually came after but was moved up on the festival's schedule).
