Cold today and tonight! Winter rides in with the new year. Went to the H's to hear GH do his show on Kaddish. It was his first full run through with an audience (six friends). It, he, was superb. He really is a genius! The show ran a bit over an hour and he never faltered. He brought the people mentioned in the piece fully to life. He did some minor tweaks to the original work to make it more coherent when performed. He will do it next year either at the bookstore or in his house. It was a privilege to be there for his "opening" performance.

From the sublime to the dreadful! I watched a British movie tonight--Passport to Pimlico. It was an older film--a British comedy. It was an OK film but really very silly and idiotic. No need to say what it was about since it's not one that should be watched.

Dreamed last night that I was in a house with a wife and two kids. We had visitors who were in the living room. They had arrived unexpectedly and we were trying to work out what to do if they wanted to stay overnight. At one point, I kept flying up into the air. I would zoom across the kitchen and carom off the wall back into the room. I was trying to calm down but I kept bouncing about. It was idiotic and silly like the movie but much funnier.

MegaMillion draw tomorrow! Huge jackpot! May I enjoy such fortune! Picked up some medication today. I hadn't hit the donut hole on my Medicare allotment so I thought I'd grab a bottle of pills to help with the 2011 donut hole. Got my Medicare medical booklets today. What a waste of paper! I'd asked for online distribution. The federal wheels turn slowly!

Got a holiday card from my daughter today. Grandkid is growing quickly. She is delightful!
