Dropped off a box of computer discs at UPS this morning--for them to shred. They were old backups of project records that I didn't need to haul with me anymore. I stopped afterward and had a prawn burrito at Como Esta, the Mexican place in midtown. I sort of spaced out and was almost late for PD dance class even though it didn't start until 12:30pm. I lost track of time when I stopped at the chiropractor's office to ask if they wanted to take the far infrared heat lamp off my hands. They indicated that they would do so--I'll take it there tomorrow afternoon.
Had a resistance class today following the PD dance activity. G&B class tomorrow--starts earlier (9:45am) so I'll have to leave by 9:15am.
Watched the first episode of a two-part PBS Masterpiece presentation--Any Human Heart. Each episode is over 2 hours so I had to stop tonight after part one. So far, it's been a quietly mysterious journey back and forth in the early life of an older man who is shuffling through his cluttered studio and remembering those earlier years. I certainly know how it all ends based on the older man's actions and memories, but there is a gnawing pull to find out how it all happens--especially since the early years were somewhat haphazard. I await the conclusional episode.
Tomorrow I send my landlord a 30-day notice that I will be leaving by the end of September. I've been here over seven years. It's difficult for me to grok that I've been here for that length of time. Where did all the minutes, hours, days go? Gone to ticktocks everyone! When will they (I) ever learn?
