Day after yoga and all is well! No stiffness and no aches or pains! Felt good and continues to do so. Got out/about around noon or so. Went to Annie's for a lunch munch--had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich on rye with french fries--a filling comfort dish! I watched people ordering the huge breakfast plates that must have run about 7000 calories or more. Huge plates full of eggs, meats, gravies and grease (maybe butter)! I'll wait to try one such meal when I really need a lot of comfort.

Went to the PD support group meeting/talk in the early afternoon. It was a good news/bad news experience. Good in that the speaker is one of the leading Movement Disorder specialists in the area (country?). He mentioned an associate of his, Dr. Thakur, who is highly recommended. Dr. T is a 30 minute drive from where I am. Having him as my key PD physician is maybe possible. Will be looking into it. The meeting was also good in that I met several people who are dealing with the illness from a variety of places.

The bad news--I met several people who are dealing with the illness and it's not fun to think about what their conditions portend for me. The other bad news--there are few good neurologists/movement specialists in the area, and none nearby--I'll have to make the commute to get to them.

I came away pleased that I had attended the session (I learned a lot about different things) and somewhat buzzed from the lengthy session (2 hours), coming right up to my medication time, and needing a green tea infusion, which I went directly to SB's and fulfilled. Came home and napped a bit, had a light dinner, and spent about 2 hours reading with the granddaughter while her mom ran some errands. The reading and working with several puzzle books ate up the time and was fun!

Tomorrow is my daughter's B-Day! I've packaged up her gift and will either give it to her tomorrow or on Saturday when a celebration dinner is planned. I've got a few errands to take care of tomorrow but nothing stressful. Onward and onward!
