Quatro de Mayo--the 4th of May! Streaming dreaming! Quiet sun day but not as warm as it has been. There's a strong breeze out of the south that's cooling things down. Don't think we got into the 80s today--just the high 70s.
I just went for a walk around the loop--breeze made it feel good. But, I am slow moving--so slow now!
How does the garden grow? Quickly and well! I discovered that there is a bed that has been planted but that hasn't being watered. I fixed that! Turned on the drip lines and let them run for nearly an hour. I then topped them off with a good sprinkle. Let them grow, let them grow!
Didn't take advantage of the SB special half-price Frappaccino--went for the latte instead. Comfort in the warm drink over a chilly one.
The mole(s) is having fun! He/she/them is building a mound of tunnel castings just beyond the spot where a trap has been set. It's like they are saying, "Trap? What Trap? Heh, heh, heh!" The yard is full of the creatures though, and something radical is going to have to be done to make them go away. Mole holes beware! The Mole Muncher is on its way! (Not to be confused with Senior Mole, the chickens' dreaded dish! Ole, Mole!)
Well, getting close to dinner time--I have half a sandwich left over from lunch. I'll munch my lunch, again! Cinco de Mayo is riding in on the wave of cool air.
