Twas the day after Xmas, and all through the house, no one was stirring, or mixing, or baking, or cooking, or doing much of anything--except sleeping! The leftovers are freezing, all snug in their tinfoil wraps. The outside temperatures are hovering in the high 40s along with a sparkling sunshine that fails to heat the air.
SD, MD's son, is on the road again, back to his safe house in the valley. He was relatively quiet and out of the way except around meal times. MD made sure he had plenty to eat--although he seemed to be less omnivorous than usual.
The ex dropped by today after her visit with her doctor--they removed the catheter from the operation for which she was very happy. Wearing that thing for over a week was getting to be a nuisance. She seems to be doing well given the surgery, but she still has several weeks of recovery.
Her birthday is Sunday--don't know if she's coming here or not. Our daughter is probably planning something--after she recovers from her Xmas feasting activities.
I plan on catching up on my naps over the next few days--I've been off schedule what with all the activities and visitors. Although, more visitors are expected next week.
Dance resumes next week (a week from today), for which I will be glad. Will be dancing my way into the New Year--the only way to go!
