Winter returned! Heavy rains last night and cold temperatures. There was snow on the mountains around the area. I was worried that the roof might leak since the roof repair people had been walking all over the place. But, ship seems tight!

Dreamed last night, but lost the details as I awoke this morning.

Met with L today for a tea and dessert. Haven't seen her for a while. She's made her move from a house to an apartment. Her father is not doing well. It appears that he may be showing signs of Alzheimer's. The family is going to have to set him up in a care giving facility. Bummer!

Heard several reports on NPR today dealing with technology. There was one piece on the $100 laptop, which has now been distributed in around 20 countries. Other pieces dealt with the Internet and its impact on our society and culture. A lot of churning regarding laws, limits, and how best to manage a technology that's careening onward--faster than can be fully assimilated by the average user. I know that even I am somewhat boggled by everything that's materializing on the web--especially the social network innovations. It is amazing!

No dance class tomorrow. Bummer! Have to try and walk some or do some form of movement/exercise to stay on an even keel.
