Had an acupressure session this morning. Felt good to relax and let go. Afterward, had lunch with BH (fish, polenta, asparagus/lobster soup, steamed vegetables, bruschetta and dessert)--a feast for the eyes and the palate. GH and I watched Love Affair or the Case of the Missing Switchboard Operator directed by Dusan Makavejev (Man is Not a Bird, Innocence Unprotected, WR and Sweet Movie). This film fills in the sequence of movies he made that led up to Sweet Movie. Having seen all of these films, I have a clear sense of what he did as he developed this sequence of movies.
Came home and slept for a short while. Feeling a bit jittery for some reason. The weekend trembles perhaps!
Dreamed last night that I was in a countryside location. The place was foggy/misty and seemed eerie. There were large floating creatures that looked to be part whale and part bird. The creatures skimmed through the air, making no sound as they passed. In this part of the dream, I just walked through the fields and watched the floating creatures.
In another part of the dream, small owls were attacking the floating creatures. The owls would fly out of nowhere and snap at the floating creatures. The owls would rip small patches from the floating creatures, who would then begin to deflate like huge balloons. When they had lost enough of their gaseous substance, the floating creatures would drift down and fall into the sea. There was nothing I could do except watch as the owls brought down the floating creatures. I knew somehow that what was happening was natural--that it was part of the way things worked.
