Went to movement class today. Really felt good! My legs are still feeling tight and stiff, but things loosened up with the class. Motto: Got to keep on moving! Even if there are class breaks, I need to figure out how to keep moving during the lulls.

Dreamed last night about words, but I don't recall the details. In the dream, I was doing something with words.

Read a lot of the trivia information surrounding the Paths of Glory film. Kubrick met his soon-to-be third wife during the making of this film. After the film was done, he ended up divorcing his second wife and marrying Cristiane--who played the character of the woman singer appearing near the end of the film.

Each of his films has a horde of ancillary bits of trivia. For example, in Paths of Glory he took over 60 takes of a small dinner scene involving three soldiers who were to be executed. There was a roast duck on the platter on which the food was displayed. They had to roast over 60 ducks in order to do the scene. He was a stickler for details.
