Holy Saturday! Good Friday! Easter Sunday! A festival of days! All on one weekend!
Had an interesting interlude this evening. LA had just called and asked if I wanted to meet for tea. As I started to leave, the lady across the way, Ms. W, had been brought back from shopping to find that she had lost her keys. She is recovering from a stroke and was upset that she had lost her keys. She was locked out of her apartment. The neighbors below me and I gathered around her to offer assistance. The neighbor below checked her window off the balcony, but it was locked. He then got a ladder (that was not that tall) and managed to remove her screen from her 2nd story window on the front of the building. That window was unlocked and open. At this point, he then called his daughter, who is about 4 years old, and lifted her up and into the window while he stood on the top of the ladder. It was not the most safe setup. But the daughter went through the window and opened the door from the inside. She was a heroine! Her mother said that she wanted to be a fireman when she grew up. She's already made her first rescue and she's just four.
I'm still having flushes and am turning red at different times. Today, after I had lunch (vegetables and rice), I lit up like a holiday tree. In talking with LA tonight, she suggested that I may want to restart my taking of Vitamins D and B (multi), and ingesting fish oils. My switch to a more vegetable diet might be not giving me enough of these essential nutrients. I was taking those things a few years ago, but had stopped when I had sleep and digestion problems. I'll restart those supplements and see what happens. All the symptoms seem to point to some kind of dietary imbalance. We shall see!
Dreamed last night that I was at an audition for some kind of musical. There was a woman auditioning who seemed somewhat reluctant to really show what she could do, even though the directors clearly showed that she was someone they wanted for the part. In fact, it became clear as the audition progressed that none of the other people, including myself, were being considered. The whole focus was on the woman and getting her to agree to take the role. It was a fun dream with everyone singing and dancing. We were all there to showcase the woman.
Had a chamomile tea with LA. That seemed to quiet some of the flushing and redness. Anxiety! The tea calmed things down. And left me ready for sleep! Ta, ta!
