Had a bunch of dreams last night and today. One dream involved an ex-wife. She had decided to leave me but had a change of heart. She returned to let me know that if I was willing she wanted to return to the marriage. I felt confused and a bit scared but I agreed to reunite. It was a pleasant dream that ended on a happy note.
A second dream had me living in a rural area with a daughter and and a wife. The place that we lived was off the beaten track. It was like a hippie community. People were friendly but wary of new people like ourselves. There was a small commercial area that formed the town center. People had small businesses along the main drag. It was an odd assortment of enterprises. There was one that had a mixture of construction tools and organic foods like fresh laid eggs. We were fixing dinner and needed some eggs. We had a friend visiting and he and I drove into town to pick up some eggs. When we got to the shop, they were closing. I knocked on the window and asked if they still had any eggs. They didn't but one of the clerks pulled out a pail of egg shells from eggs that had been cracked open. He showed us how to select some of the shells that still had egg whites and told us how to add a bit of water to make the whites usable for cooking. We took a sack of the egg shells and thanked him. As we were leaving, we noticed that there was a crowd of people gathering at the town's meeting hall. We asked what was happening and the clerk told us that there was a party being held for one of the locals.
A third dream took place in a huge camping grounds. The men's team had set up two camp sites near a lake or stream. We were cooking some food and getting ready for the night. I had walked down to the shore of the lake and could see a huge image of the moon hanging in the sky. The moon was closer than our normal moon and hung like a vast gray mountain just above the horizon. I called to the other campers and told them to come look at the moonscape. Later in the evening, other people began to arrive to watch the moonstone rising in the heavens. Some of us started singing songs and everyone joined in as they could. The image of the moon was striking and memorable.
Watched a fun movie tonight--Amelie. It was warm romp through a young woman's interventions on the behalf of others. The lead was a woman, Audrey Tautou. She was delightful and intriguing. The overall film was funny, moving and surprising. I'd watch it again!
Busy week on the grill! Tomorrow there is an informational seminar at the PD institute. It will be covering alternate interventions for people with PD. Looking forward to hearing some of the data.
