Dropped off a pile of foam today to the place that recycles the stuff. It is a handy place to know about--just about the only place that's close and does the recycling. Had a movement class today and for some reason people there were not aware that I was moving to Fair Oaks--they thought that I was moving to the senior place. The news shocked a couple of people.
Today, I again felt wobbly after doing a class and having only a light breakfast. After dropping the foam, I stopped an grabbed some food and then had a Frappuccino. All got right with the world--except for the warm, muggy weather. Holiday weekend almost upon us--Labor Day! I'll probably be laboring with my packing process. The place is getting emptier though--I am getting rid of a lot of stuff. I gave a toolbox full of various tools to a neighbor. I had wanted to not haul that heavy box anymore. I found the perfect person to give it to. Cruising on down the road!
I picked up a fresh set of DVDs while I was out. Watched a somewhat dull thriller this evening--Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. For some reason it made me remember the old TV series. The current episode maintains an illusion of being very hi-tech but is really a gloss to glue together the chase and fight scenes. The whole thing starts on an improbable note--breaking out of a maximum security prison in order to take on a mission that has the team stealing something from the Kremlin. But off they go--all the way up to the ending where they save the world by disabling a nuclear missile while it is armed and in flight. Oh, yeah!
Resistance training tomorrow! I feel it's important that I maintain as much exercise/activity as I can while I'm still here. The body knows what it needs!
