Feeling a bit more energetic today but didn't really do much beyond reading at the H's. I awoke early and sort of marked time until it was time to go to the H's. Came back from the H's feeling somewhat foggy, picked up my prescription, and did some shopping at TJ's. Then went to SB's and had a green tea latte which helped settle me down and erased some of the fog. I then napped for a bit and watched some films (an episode of Midsomer Murders and a 007 episode -- Live and Let Die).

The Midsomer episode was the one where the protagonist, Barnaby, does his last detective work, retires, and turns over the reins of the office to his cousin. He must have starred in about 80 episodes, in a quaint village, Midsomer, where he encountered about three murders in each episode. That means he had about 240 murders on his watch. Sounds like one of the most dangerous villages on the planet!

The 007 film was almost too campy to watch. The film had a weak and dumb premise and featured a lot of chase scenes, some not-so-sly double entendres, and was racist and feminine-bashing as well. It mixed voodoo with drug running, murders with mayhem, improbable escapes, and interminable chase scenes. The film should be taken as its name--Live and Let Die.

Tomorrow there is a resistance class--I missed not having a class today and only a few classes last week. I'll be up early working on the packing process for things still undone. Packing uber alles!
