Busy day! We did a family outing (daughter, grandkid, daughter's partner, ex wife, and ex-mother-in-law). We went to the grandkid's gymnastics class--where she did a nonstop set of exercises which I don't think I could do. We then went to a carnival in the shopping center, rode many rides, and stopped for lunch. We rode a few more rides and motored home where we rested (sort of) and had dinner. Daughter made a pozole that was really tasty. We then went back to the carnival site and located a haunted house setup that was really well done. The actors in each room of the "house" were quite freaky and scary. After the haunted house, we returned home to drop off some of the less energized people. My daughter, grandkid and ex returned to the carnival and closed down the rides.

The grandkid is a nonstop bundle of energy and noise. She is quite the director and keeps things moving.

Thank goodness for my SB's green tea Frap--it got me through the day and evening.

Oh, yes! My ex had brought along a craft project that she, me and the grandkid did in the afternoon. It was the making of a stepping stone--we embedded buttons and colorful objects in a bed of wet concrete. The activity produces a colorful stone that can be put out into the yard or garden.

All in all, it was a busy, happy, tiring day. I admire both my daughter's and ex's stamina and ability to flow with the go of what my grandkid manifests.

Not too late yet, but I am fading. Time to head for the bed!
