Up in the morning! Out on the road! Traffic, traffic everywhere! Made the trek across town to the eye specialists' compound. The setup there was impressive. The processes and procedures were streamlined and efficient. Seems that I have a cataract in my right eye and need surgery to fix the problem. I came away with an informational packet that describes and defines the steps to be taken. As part of the process, I had to name a PCP and set up an appointment with him to get a pre-surgery EKG. The entire process and followup sessions stretch from now through the end of the year into January. The surgery will be done in early December--my holiday gift to my ailing eye!

I had hoped that the whole thing would be done more quickly--I'll just have to wait a few more weeks before I can really drive at night. I'll have to make do with fitness club classes and workouts for now. After the first of the year I can experiment with night classes.

Getting old sucks! The older I get, the more I forget! But I have no regrets! The sun never sets! Fate is a bet! A prize-winning pet! But, getting old still sucks!
