Surgery is done! The only painful part was when they put in the shunt for the IV. Otherwise, it felt like nothing was happening! No pain before, during or after surgery! I'm wearing an irritating eyepatch, which I'll keep wearing until it's removed tomorrow.

The setup in the clinic was like an assembly plant or a production line. The surgeon only spends about 20 minutes or so doing the surgery. The prep and post activities take most of the time and require several people.

It's great to have this part of the process completed. If all is well, I'll spend the next two to six weeks putting different drops into my eye and getting used to my improved sight. And getting back into the swing of things on the exercise front.

Time to get some shuteye (for my unpatched left eye).

I see the sea and the sea sees me! What color is the sea I see?
