Cold but not that much snow/ice as predicted. Going to be colder tonight. I went to Roseville and spent an hour with LL. It was good to see her, but I felt tired and out of sync when I got there. I was anxious and the anxiety took over and blotted out the paths our conversation tried to follow.

I had stopped and grabbed a toasted cheese sandwich and a bowl of chowder. I thought that the food would ground me more. It did some, but I was still out of body during the meeting.

Came home and walked into the weekend group--MD, my ex, grandkid and my daughter. MD bought Chinese food for dinner for the five of us. The food was good and I began to settle in some after eating and playing with the grandkid for a bit.

It's late already. I've done my pre-surgery ritual tasks and am making my way to bed.

I dreamed a very real dream last night--something about buying and selling some kind of product. There were ominous elements in the dream--so much so that I was awakened as the dream unfolded.

Off to bed time! Having trouble reading--the bad eye that has fuzzy vision is getting tired. Hope the surgery fixes the issue--it's either that or wearing a big magnifying lens!
