Sun Day is on it's way to another day! Just a few more hours and it will be gone.

I dreamed a complex dream last night. It involved going to a cafe with a small group of family members. The cafe was strange in that you had to pre-order what you would later be served when you came to eat. I had to debate whether I would later prefer to have--pasta and sausage or something else.

After ordering, we went for a walk around the area. The place was in a junky part of town and we had several threatening encounters before we returned to the cafe for dinner. The whole thing was odd and distorted with everything feeling out of sync or out of time in some way. I remember the savory smell of the pasta/sausage dish that I ordered for my dinner. It was pungent and left a lingering residue in my nostrils when we went for the walk.

A friend of my ex dropped by today that I had not seen in over 20 years. She is still in the Bay Area (in SF) and still teaches and paints. She looks the same as she did 20 years ago. She still has her French accent (actually Belgian accent) that is still difficult to parse. It was good to see her again.

The rest of the family here and in Arizona are talking with each other concerning the death of the young relative. There will be a funeral later this week and my daughter is planning to attend.

I have a dental appointment in the morning and have to be up and about to look for the appliance repair person. Life goes on in its petty pace and so on! Endings and beginnings always! Always!
