Warmer and warmer! The day gets hot! Stepping outside is like stepping into a blast furnace. Thank goodness for the AV--I didn't have any when I was in the Bay Area. I don't know how I weathered such weather there.

I had a pair of elaborate dreams last night. In one, I was living in a shared housing facility. The place was a high rise building that was subdivided into many apartments and living spaces. I was concerned about security. People were always coming and going--almost all the access doors were routinely left unlocked. Anyone could walk through one of the doors and gain access to any of the other rooms. I was new to the place and broached the issue with several of the tenants. Only a few seemed to be mildly concerned--most simply waved away my worries. The place had been operated for quite some time with no problems associated with the open doorways. In the dream, I spoke with many residents.

In a second dream, I was with a group of rescue people who were trying to locate a woman's body. It appeared that she had fallen into a fast moving stream and had disappeared. The search team had just moved to a new downstream location when what looked to be her purse appeared in the adjacent water. From that item, we concluded that her body was still upstream and that it could be found by moving in that direction. It wasn't clear how are why she was in the stream.
