It was a bit cooler today--not quite the hotness of the past few days. And, it's cooling down tonight even more with more coolness as the week begins. I did my laundry today in two steps--used the washer here in the house to wash the clothes, then took the damp load to a local Laundromat and used their dryer. All went well. The place was a bit tightly built to hold as many appliances as possible, but the place was clean, the units seemed well maintained, and I was in and out quickly. Compared to the place I used in the Bay Area this local one is almost spotless--the place in the Bay Area was a dump.

I located the SBs that is near the laundry place--it's in the same huge shopping strip. The place was jumping--I suspect they do a huge business. They have both a drive through as well as indoor service. They had about 5-6 people working there.

I felt good today. I went a bit too long before eating some lunch and I felt the drag that produced. After a hearty bite to eat, I felt better and sailed through the rest of the day. Oh, yes! I was up early so I could check the sprinklers and water the garden. I picked a half bowl of blueberries from the two bushes in the planter area. Nature provides!

I think I dreamed last night but I don't recall any details right now. I think I dreamed about something that was in the mood of the Proulx book that I'm reading--Postcards. She is a strong writer--very inventive but always a bit dark and shadowy. Her ability to elicit vivid detail is amazing though--and she weaves it all together smoothly and naturally.

Sun Day in the morrow! Looks like there will be few weekenders about. I will enjoy the stillness!
