Sleepytime once again today! Awoke early, did rituals, went shopping and when I returned I had to sleep. Then cycled between eating and sleeping until now (this evening). Guess it was time to sleep!
Enjoying the Anaya book, Alburquerque. He's a superb storyteller! He weaves in history in a seamless fashion. Tonight's another reading night, I guess.
Have another book I've not yet opened--a story collection. Read through all of Carver's works. He didn't produce all that many stories, but they are well-crafted and memorable. Too bad he died so early in his career. If he was like his characters, smoking was constant activity, and his lungs gave out.
Evening arrives. The sun sets down behind trees. A hazy golden light fills the room, paints the walls in textures. Night waits nearby to make her entrance.
