Had an acupressure session this morning. It felt good, but it seemed to stir up my blood pressure. I arrived at the H's very red-faced and feeling flushed. That has been happening on and off for several months. It seems to have gotten more prominent in the past week. Will meditate and see if that affects anything. I'm feeling anxious and that may be the root cause of it all. Will check diet and de-stress.
BH made a delicious lentil soup, an oriental chicken salad, juice, crackers and apricot sorbet with ginger. The ginger may have been what kept my system flushed this afternoon. The meal was delicious!
GH and I watched a Russian (Ukrainian) silent film called Arsenal. It was riveting. Great camera work and a driving plot. It was based on a true event that happened around 1918 where some workers locked themselves in an munitions factory. We're going to watch another film by the same director called Earth.
Dreamed an odd dream last night. I was in a sport's competition. We were in teams and were playing a game that was somewhat like a mixture of baseball, cricket and tennis. We took turns hitting the ball which appeared to be made of wood. The score went back and forth. I believe my team ended up winning. There was big celebration at the end.
I watched a Mexican film called The Violin. It was well done. The story revolved around an old man who played the violin. He and his village were caught up in a military battle with the army. The story was told simply. There were nice twists and turns to the plot. The opening scene was very brutal and set the backdrop for the rest of the movie.
