Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there! Last night, I paid the price of eating a burger on Friday. The burger was delicious--a foccacia burger with pepper jack cheese and fried onions. The beef in the burger totally clogged me up. It took me a long time to clear things out so I could get to bed. I'll think twice the next time I crave a burger.

My new modem seems to be working well. As I mentioned in yesterday's post, I lost the whole day trying to get the device to work properly. I think the stress involved helped with my clogging problem--I was sitting nearly all day and not moving around much.

Dreamed last night that I was with a group of people who were making toys. We were being put into small groups and were asked to name our group. One group group named themselves the Sun Spots. The game of naming was a lot of fun, but had a serious side that I never got to in the dream.

I watched a movie, House of Sand and Fog. I'd seen it before and I was amazed at how little I remembered of the film. It was like watching a dream in some ways. The story was a Macbeth scenario with nearly everyone dying at the end--a grand tragedy set off my one person's failure to stay conscious. A chain of events like the clashing of pool balls on a billiards' table.

Tomorrow CW dance class and taking GH to his doctor's appointment. Maybe in the rain!
