Weather is still erratic. Warm and cold, wet and dry, windy and still! Went to movement class today. The session was enjoyable. I was feeling good.

Spent part of the day getting things organized. Made a list and checked off quite a few items. Did some calculations regarding my budget and figured out how to start drawing down from my IRA. The budget reinforces my thoughts about finding a less expensive place to live.

Got a phone call from JON. I hadn't heard from him in quite a spell. Also got a message from my sister regarding an old friend. He was the twin brother of another good friend who had passed away a few years ago. He passed away earlier this week. I saw both of them in 2005 when I went home for a visit. They both were ailing in different ways, although they were both having heart problems. Now, they are both gone! Makes me sad. They were two guys with whom I grew up. I knew them for almost 70 years! Astounding!

I had a series of dreams last night. They all three dealt with moving into new living locations. One took place in a house that had many extra rooms. I picked out a room that I was willing to use, but had a difficult time getting agreement from everyone that I could use the room. There was a lot of back and forth over my choice of room and how I wanted to be furnished. A second dream involved a set of apartments. Here again, there was confusion regarding which apartment I would occupy and under what conditions. A third option involved a series of small houses in a gated community. Access to the homes was regulated by a system of locked gates. I needed a pass key in order to get into the complex, which I didn't have. I liked the place. There were lots of walking paths and plenty of space between units. Coincidence--JON's call and conversation revolved around his starting to look for a new place to live. Interesting!

Watched an episode of a Spielberg series called Taken. The first episode was about several families that were affected by events that took place in Roswell. The series follows relatives for a 50-year period after the first encounters. It was an enjoyable fantasy piece with several good actors. I believe the series was produced in 2002. May look for other episodes so I get the whole saga.

Well, a sad goodbye to an old friend! May he and his brother rest in peace!
