3717-3716

Skipped making an entry yesterday! First in a while! I was sleeping and wrestling with my sore ribs. I ended up sleeping all afternoon and into the early-late night. Amazingly, I awoke at my medication times. I had trouble getting horizontal without causing my ribs to complain. I slept some sitting up. The ribs continued to bother me today but have quieted down some after I sat upright for several hours while watching a film.

I dreamed a host of dreams over the past few days. One dream had me attending a huge gathering of criminals--people who were in charge of criminal activities all over the world. We met in a large conference room. The main activity was ostensibly the bosses listening to the younger gang members air their differences, opinions, and requests. The whole thing was a zoo! There was a lot of posturing and random threats. Everyone had had to check their weapons at the door so nothing got really out of hand. I was there with a gang that I belonged to. I was a new to the business and so just watched and listened for the most part.

A second dream had me in a large auditorium. There was going to be a concert and the place was filling up. For some reason, the ventilation was crappy. My date got up and walked across the open area where the orchestra was assembling. She walked out the front door and into the lobby area. After a while, someone knocked on the doors behind our seats. The doors were opened and my date came in with a bunch of other people. With the doors open, the place was better ventilated. Everyone agreed that it was best to leave the doors open.

Watched a movie tonight that is part of a series--Ripley's Game. There are five films based on five novels centered on Mr. Ripley. I've seen the third film in the series (The Talented Mr. Ripley with Matt Damon) and now the fourth one. It would be interesting to see all five pieces. The Ripley character is difficult to like--he's remote, a psychopath, narcissistic and more. John Malkovich does the Ripley role Ripley's Game and does him well.

Will see how things go tonight. Hopefully, I'll be able to rest enough so that I can do dance and resistance classes in the morrow!
