Slept in this morning and it felt so good! I just turned over after taking my morning pills and went back into the dreamland. I just felt like sleeping so I did! Awoke finally around noon time and started making my way into the day (light). Went out for a late brunch (had a delicious sandwich at CG) and then on the spur of the moment call the woman who cuts my hair. She had an opening and could take me right away. After getting a trim, I made my way back to the apartment and, yes, slept some more. I feel really great now from having rested all day.

Watched a fantasy film this evening--The Golden Compass. It's a huge budget, CGI extravaganza with several big name stars and a really wacky storyline. It did alright at the box-office but didn't get the green flag for two sequels that were planned. This first episode ends with a blatant plug for a sequel, but guess that will never be. OK, by me if it's never made. I'm not sure why they made the first one except that they were fortunate and hit it lucky, especially with European audiences. There was some push back by Christian/Catholic groups who claim that the film encourages atheism or such. That push back supposedly blunted the U.S. receipts. I think the film blunted the receipts!

Time to check the lottery tickets! MegaMillion from yesterday and Power Ball tonight. Let the numbers rock and roll!
