Went to C&M class this morning and it was a workout. Weather was warmer, as promised, and I slumped out for a lunch and then went to the dentist. I was scheduled to start the work around 3pm. Three hours later I got up from the chair. The procedure was lengthy and composed of several layers of work most of which I'm not sure exactly what was done. The final result after such a long process, lots of drilling, packing the excavated area, and making casts of the region was a temporary bridge. In 10 days to a week, I'll go back for the permanent item. Interesting tonight that I don't feel anything from all that was done. I'm only feeling a tiny bit of pain and tenderness. The dental office and staff are all newly trained and at ease with a host of hi-tech tools that are now standard in the newest offices. The dentist, Dr. Thai, is very supportive and caring. She is quite young but very well trained as far as I could tell. She made sure that I got the debris from the old bridge--a packet of gold particles that I can sell if I choose to do so.
No PD dance class tomorrow but still have a resistance training session. Will be more warm weather for the next few days and then a cooling spell.
I dreamed a series of dreams over the past few nights that were highly charged and emotional. One involved an ex-wife who was planning on leaving me. She told me that she had decided to leave--that she was going to move in with a girlfriend of hers. They planned on living together and adopting children. She left and took the bulk of the things we owned and the money we had. I was left in a rundown apartment with mostly my clothes and little else. I felt really sad and lost by what was happening in this dream.
A second lengthy dream had me in a city. I was there with an ex-girlfriend. I was helping her scout out places to take dance lessons and go dancing. Most of the dream took place in a side street in an artsy part of town. In one part of the dream I had been using a color palette but had mixed up the parameters of the settings that people normally used. I had to enlist the help of some of the people there to reset the colors to their normal settings. In other parts of the dream I was going to dance places on the street and finding out their schedules and class times. There was a creepy scene where I stopped the car I was driving and a scrubby man got into the back seat. He started rummaging through the papers I had tossed around the area. I finally told him I was leaving and he needed to get out of the car. He did so but at a pace that made me want to run him down.
Late it is already! Time to dream the dreams! Adios muchachos!
