PD dance was a lot of fun today! A few more people showed up and we just had a good time. Afternoon class also went well--not so much fun but felt good to heft the weights. The temperature is rising! Hot, hot, hot this afternoon and even now still. Laundry day tomorrow!

Watched a Canadian/French film--Monsieur Lazhar. It was a good one with a strong cast of child actors who carried the action. An Algerian refugee steps in to replace a classroom teacher who commits suicide. Unknown to the rest of the faculty and student body, the new teacher is battling his own grief and political asylum battles. The story revolves around the teacher's death, his own uncertainties, and how it all gets healed or handled. The film is warm and touching, filled with quavery moments and emotional waves that carry things along.

Went through a few hoops in order to set up a visit to my PCP. Made the original appointment using their online system and ran into some exceptions (regarding PCP availability and length of the requested visit). I had to cancel the original and reschedule the visit into a more distant week in order to keep the system happy. Still a busy week on the horizon even without the medical visit--plenty of classes, dental work, and other things to keep me moving. Rolling on and on!
