Bay to Breakers had a tight finish! I watched parts of the race online. I woke up early and had the idea of tuning into the event. There was a photograph in one of the collections that had a runner in costume who looked like my twin brother (if I had a twin brother). I search the Google image archives and popped the photo, which as it turns out was from last year's race. For a moment, I thought I may have gotten up and run the race but had no memory of doing so. It was either that or I've been in a parallel universe.

I did it again! First movie I opened up this afternoon is one I've seen before--Infamous. It's about Truman Capote and his involvement in creating the book In Cold Blood. The film shows how he became obsessed with the crime and putting it in book form, and how he succeeded but also never produced much after that. The actor who plays Capote does an incredible job of creating that character. He seems almost to be channeling Capote's spirit. It was a good film the second time around. Now, how many of the other five DVDs have I already seen?

It warmed up today and promises to be even warmer tomorrow. I'll be heading out early to go by the medical lab to get some blood drawn for a lipid test. Then I'll be headed to the C&M class. The H's are on a road trip so no reading aloud tomorrow or Wednesday. Have a dental appointment for Wednesday though--one of two final sessions to get some repair work done.

New neighbors are noisy! They keep the TV turned on all the time. Don't know how they can hear each other over the din! Hope I'll be moving soon!
