2800

Happy New Year--almost! Welcoming in 2015 and all that it may bring! Guests are gone and peacefulness settles back upon us. It's been a gnarly couple of weeks, but things start falling back into patterns--the calendar fills with entries of things to come.

Resolutions? I am without a host of promises to myself. Perhaps I shouldn't be in that state but I'm sure life will present itself as the days unfold. I think this morning I awoke as my mind sifted through my memories of my early days--when I was really young and living upstairs above the tire vulcanizing shop. So many things that I did during those long days--how I spent my time learning about the world.

And I went through the many jobs I've done and the serendipitous way they came to be for me. So many chance events--so many tiny tweaks that sent me off in various directions.

It was really cold today--sunny and bright, but cold as could be. Tonight it's supposed to drop to around 25 degrees! How can that be? When did winter begin a new year so chilly?

Dance classes return with the turning of the calendar pages. My body is looking forward to the movement and play. It's been a somewhat sedentary several weeks without a lot of moving about.

I picked up my last 2014 medications--just in time! I was able to get them at the best prices since I was in the catastrophe bucket. One prescription only dinged me for 43 cents! Way to go ACA--Yeah for the prez! My 2015 co-pays will be a lot higher than that--and even more when I hit the donut hole. But, onward and onward!

See you next year!
