Big storm on its way! Neighbors are putting sandbags around low areas, driveways, and doors. I guess they have been through this before. We have been promised lots of rain, wind, flooding, and disruption. The storm isn't going to be around very long, but it looks like it will be intense.

If the rain wakes me up in the wee hours, I'll just use that time to wrap my Xmas presents.

I wonder what's going to happen to those yards that have installed Xmas scenes and stuff? If they don't take it down, it'll be blown away.

LL called from La Jolla and said that big waves are being predicted. Not a good time to go to the beach!

My daughter said that school tomorrow has already been cancelled--to help keep people off the roads when the heavy winds hit. Boom and bang! The rivers rang! The muds and floods are coming!

Missing dance classes--will only have the one this Friday and one next week. I can review Friday's dances on YouTube but that's not like actually moving to the music.

So, looks like it's batten down the hatches and hunker down for the duration. Mother nature has her plans--and we will learn what they are as the storm unfolds.
