Better daze--the holidaze! Slept for about 8 hours--but in several fragmented bursts. Slept in late--had a pizza for lunch (very tasty). Printed MD's word list for the week--words about food.

Zoned out for a short while after lunch and latte--was awakened by the sounds of people arriving. It was the grandkid, my ex, my daughter, and BH--MD was up and about in the midst of this activity.

I wanted to either go back and nap--or get some movement. I elected to hit the gym--did an hour's workout and feel better for doing so. I need to hit the gym every day I'm not dancing--which will be a lot of gym time over the next few weeks. Only have two or three dance options during the next two weeks--the gym will have to help bridge the gaps.

It's early yet tonight--but I'm feeling somewhat drowsy. Presents a puzzle--do I go to sleep early and thus wake up after a few hours or do I stay up and try to push my sleep-start time closer to midnight? I have no solid way to make these nocturnal options happen as planned--so many variables. The good news--My sleep bursts are periods of solid sleep. FitBit attests to this outcome--and indicates that when I do fall asleep I sleep.
