Dreamed last night about me creating a set of scenery sketches for a musical. There were seven major scenes and I produced drawings for all seven plus ancillary sketches for certain key props, costumes, and miscellaneous equipment. I delivered the drawings to the director and producer the night before a major dress rehearsal. They grabbed them and went charging off to implement the concepts. It was a major production and what I proposed would highlight the musical elements. As I dreamed, parts of the scenery was being built and installed. Costumes were being altered. It was a whirlwind of creative work that was accomplished in record time. It felt good to have contributed to the overall effort in such a key way.

Fuzzy, buzzy day! Was lethargic and kept wanting to sleep. It was warm and muggy most of the day so afternoon was lost. Cooling a bit now, but still muggy.

West Nile on the rise. Haven't seen many mosquitoes around here, but parts of the state are getting cases. Too many hazards--no end to it all.

Unit down the street going for $1.2MM (asked), but not a lot of interest. Tiny townhome on a tiny street! Convenient, but nothing great!

July rushes to the end of its days! August arrives with more heat! The daze of summer!
