Chiropractor returns! My back and shoulder are doing quite well. It's been 3 weeks since my last adjustment with him and things are relatively quiet. Good news!
Two major dream segments last night (despite me falling asleep on the floor and awakening in the early morning hours). One involved moving to a new town. I was with a woman (sort of a mush of my different ex-wives). We had moved to a house in a town that was nestled in the foothills. It was heavily forested and a bit rural. I took off on a bike ride around town and ended up at a pub. The people were friendly and I lost track of time and it got quite late before I noticed the time. I called the woman and told her what happened and asked if she wanted to join me. She was tired from the move and told me to go ahead and enjoy, be careful coming home, and she'd see me later.
The second dream involved building a toy. The toy's components were developed by individual teams and the parts assembled using a robotic assembly tool. The toy was intricate, but was built well and could withstand heavy usage. I was in charge of one of the component teams and was feeding assembly data into the assembly tool. The data were in the form of stacks of paper (like the paper stacks in the previous night's dream). The atmosphere in the assembly area was light and positive--we knew we were creating a great product.
Continue to wrestle with the PD issues and what I'm going to need to do about my future(s). Can't seem to put a lot of focus on my options without falling asleep (which is one option--just keep sleeping my time away). My dreams seem lively enough and filled with energy. My waking seems less energetic and coherent. The one thing I've come to realize--I've had this set of disorders for some time--decades. The feelings and sensations were happening for many years--all the way back into early childhood. Not that that makes a lot of difference now--just a data point among many.
