Fine acupressure massage today. Feeling quiet and still tonight. It's warm and muggy.

Finished reading Didion's Year of Magical Thinking. A superb book regarding grief and what it can do to the mind. It's a starkly realistic account of her state of mind after her husband died and her daughter battled a severe illness. I found a lot in the book that applies to my current state of mind. A superb read!

Had lunch with the person who does the massage. Introduced him to DeeDee's since he's a vegetarian. Food may have been a bit spicy for him, but he chowed down.

Dreamed last night that I was to drive BH's new Porsche and deliver a canoe to his fiance's home. I had some questions around where her place was, but knew enough to make the delivery. I enjoyed driving his car. Zip and zoom! Lots of power.

Slept a short while this afternoon, but have been fairly awake/alert today. Looking forward to the morrow, for a change. Feeling ready to do something--not sure what, but feel like shifting gears in some way. We shall see!

One of the neighbors is moving out, I believe. Been a lot of back and forth here today. Still napped though! Napping uber alles! Or so it seems!
