Mental dental! Gentle Dental! Finished up the round of deep scaling that the hygienist wanted done before the tooth replacement work begins. Thank goodness for insurance. The three procedures that they have planned would cost about $10K overall. With the insurance, I will only have to pay about 1/3 of that total--still a lot but not as much as it would be otherwise.

I watched a French film this evening--L'Argent. The title means something like pay it forward or more simply"money." The film is one of Bresson's well thought of productions. The whole story revolves around people handing on some bit of bad luck that they encounter. Each pass forward puts the recipient into deeper and darker circumstance. The finale is a scene of mayhem and crazy violence. I thought the film was overly long but it's only cited as being 80 minutes in length. I have to admit that I'm a bit foggy this evening. The stress of getting the hygiene done, eating late, and getting some flushing/redness when I did eat makes for a dull boy. Also missed not doing a resistance class--will try and do some on my own tomorrow and Sunday. (Somehow it feels like it's Saturday but it's only Friday.)
