Sun Day, sundae, day of rest, rest of the day! I slept this morning and this afternoon. Rested for nearly the entire day. Went out for brunch and a few errands, but came back and napped the day away. Tomorrow back to the regimen--starting off with C&M session in the morning time. Will feel good to move and groove some to kick off the week.
Dreamed last an elaborate dream about working. I went to a warehouse district to interview with someone about a part-time job. When I got to the place, I discovered that I knew the person doing the interview. In fact, I had worked for him before on some other projects. CW, another business associate, was there interviewing as well. He too had worked with the person doing the interview. We both got the nod and were hired to start working. The job involved operating a high end printing device that required two operators. The printer was in another room in the warehouse. For the most part, the warehouse was virtually empty with just some debris and junk scattered about. The man who hired us said that he would eventually need all of the space and that we could clean up the place with any spare time we had.
As we worked, we observed other people coming and going from the other buildings in the area. The curious thing though was that almost everyone who worked in the area were old business associates we had worked with in the past. Each day, we would encounter more and more people we had known before.
Watched a French film this evening--Leaving. It was a story about a woman who becomes obsessed with a handyman who is doing some work on her home. Despite her being married to a well-to-do physician and having two children, she throws it all away to be with the handyman. She goes from being affluent to doing day work in order to survive. Her ex-husband makes it more difficult for her by playing the abandoned husband card, trying to force her to return. When she hears that her ex and kids are going to be away for a while, she concocts a plan to take things from the house. When they attempt to sell the goods, the handyman is caught and thrown back into jail (he had a record). She returns home but in the end leaves once and for all--let's just say a gun is involved in letting her get free of her ex's grasp.
The film was alright--just a bit too matter of fact interspersed with rugged sex scenes. The film seemed more about making a point of delving into French marital issues than about people being people.
