Tough session at the C&M class today! She really worked us hard for the 1.5 hours of class. I felt like a noodle when we finished. Cooler, much cooler, today! Thunderstorms were forecast but not much moisture, much less lightning, graced the area. Supposed to stay cool tomorrow. Only have resistance training tomorrow--no PD dance class (it has been moved to Fridays).

I downloaded an application that sets up and plays a dozen or more solitaire games on the computer. I've gotten totally intrigued with so many game options. There's on game in particular, 40 Thieves, that is a master puzzle game. I played in over a dozen times before I finally figured out how the game can be won (all cards sorted by suites and in ascending order)--it was not easy and kept me going until I managed to win a hand.

Watched a French film this evening--La Femme Nikita. It's a classic spy thriller about a woman who gets trained to be an assassin. It's a tight, tension-filled film with lots of action (in bed and otherwise). The woman who plays Nikita is perfect in the part. She pulls off the woman's dual personality elements--naive and rebellious while also being cold and clinical. It's an excellent film and gets mentioned on nearly everyone's "best of" list.
