Truck is loaded (stuffed) and ready to go! I put in a 12-hour day, but it is done. Along with a host of other checklist items. As the day went on, things got sorted, dumped, donated, merged, and identified. I still have a lot of things I probably will never need, but they'll have to wait for a Fair Oaks trash day. I did haul the heaviest item (an old TV) to Goodwill. It has been dumped/donated! I rewarded myself with a green tea latte (It was too cool for a Frap this morning)!
Touched base with the cleaning person and he gave me a time for the cleaning to begin (8am on Monday). It will eat up most of the day but I can run a few errands to escape the noise. Plus that will give me Sunday to do laundry and prep for the cleaning of the place.
So it will probably be early to bed tonight after today's hump. No movie since the TV is gone, gone, gone. We had a hefty rainstorm this afternoon. It was enough water to cause a small creeklet to form in the parking area. The kids took advantage of that and put together a fleet of paper boats to navigate the stream.
Been responding to a flood of email from PD classmates who are discovering that I am nearly gone. They were not in class last week and are learning by word-of-mouth (or email) what is happening. Also getting messages from people who say they make periodic treks to my new area, and will contact me when they do. That will be interesting and fun!
