Hot and sleepy day! Slept in this morning while it was still cool. Got up as the warmth knocked off the cooler edge and went to do laundry. Grabbed a bit of breakfast (brunch) while doing the laundry and picked up a Frappuccino on the way home. All of my meanderings made me be late taking my afternoon medication--and I didn't notice any effects from doing so. Did eventually take a dosage and have been awake and alert (although a bit warm and muzzy) into the evening.

Watched a film this evening--Guilty by Suspicion. It's a fictional portrayal of the effects of the HUAC investigations on the lives of all those who got blacklisted. The original script was changed so that the  protagonist was more of a law-abiding liberal than a Communist. The writer of the original script had his name removed from the eventual version to protest the changes made. The film was interesting and came to a "Rocky" conclusion in the hearing settings but only footnoted the fact that the proponents spent the next 20 years shaking off what had been done to them.

Didn't get anything done today on the moving front. It was just too hot! Everything feels under control though. I just have to walk through the various steps over the next two weeks--the final steps and check points. Today's high was in the 90s around here, but was also very humid--which is normally not the case. Again today, the winds were kicking up some and made it feel like I was caught in a blast furnace. Too hot to not! Too not to hot!
