Hot and muggy day! There were winds but they only made it feel like being in a blast furnace. Got warm and warmer in the afternoon and is still sweltering at this hour. Went to resistance training session in the afternoon. We had nearly a full house--22 people, I believe.

Watched a suspense/mystery film--Law Abiding Citizen. It was somewhat gruesome and had a number of ways in which people were killed. The story sat on the edge of being real and being doable in a technical sense. A man has his wife and child murdered during a home invasion. The man survives but is not happy with the justice system when they had to back off somewhat in order to get convictions. He wanted their punishments to be more severe. Unknown to the justice people or the murderers--the man is a secret government "killing machine." He handles dark ops for the government and is the best in the world. Thus begins an extended cat-and-mouse game between the man and the justice people. Even when locked in prison he still manages to pull off incredible escapades and terror activities. Of course, the conclusion has to find the justice system figuring out how to stop the man, but at great cost and not exactly without prejudice.
