I think I finally got the system to issue a prescription for my key medications. My PCP appears to have issued an Rx for them, enough to tide me over to the time I see the new neurologist. The only remaining hitch--the pharmacy is short on supplies and has to order a batch. Figures!

In the process, I discovered that my PCP closes up at 12 noon on Fridays. A detail I only unearthed as everything came down to the wire today. More than likely, the office is probably closed for most of next week, for the holiday period.

So I didn't get my gifts wrapped today. The grandkid came up sick this evening--she tossed her cookies around suppertime. She looked a bit out of sync when they came home this afternoon. May she be well and the stomach upset a passing thing.

Gift wrapping will be done tomorrow! The holidaze plans keep shifting so I have to get it done sooner rather than later.

My email bombardment to friends and family has resulted in a deluge of replies. It's been good to hear from everyone! Getting late now and I'm ready to hit the sack--and not look back--just keep on track--clackety clack--give it a smack--alas, alack... The sound of one hand flapping!
