It's over 90 degrees right now and seemingly still climbing even though it's late in the afternoon. I conked out for much of today--some residual let down from yesterday's dental work. The extraction went smoothly and I've had no problems with what was done. I ate a regular meal at midday although I had to chew on my left side.

I'd started making my way through the mini-piles of papers I've managed to accumulate since I moved here. I dumped a lot of them and found few that I really needed to keep--mostly more recent items it seems.

My daughter has returned from her excursion to a family memorial for her cousin. Haven't had a chance to talk with her about the event. She and the grandkid showed up a few minutes ago. She had to take some pictures of the grandkid's upper arms--it seems that a teacher grabbed the child and bruised her in some kind of confrontation. Not exactly great welcome home news!

I'm about to complete the viewing of the Murdoch Mysteries episodes. I'm down to the final episode that is available on Netflix. Apparently, there are other shows that were done but NF hasn't secured the rights to stream them. Hope they do! It was a good series!

Looking like it will be a warm weekend. The heat will greet the Memorial Day participants.
